Charlotte’s Original Collection of work is made from both stoneware and porcelain clay.
The mugs, plates and porcelain vessels are thrown on the wheel, while the tiles and decorations are hand-rolled in stoneware. All the pieces are glazed and the surface designs include hand-printed lithographs and applied decal transfers.
New work is created by Charlotte every year and is available for purchase through selected galleries and at various craft fairs.View Original Collection
Charlotte designs and makes thrown porcelain tableware to be used and enjoyed for everyday dining.
Her new 'Midsurrey' Collection created in 2013 has twelve co-ordinated components including jugs, plates, bowls, a mug, a platter and salt and pepper pots. After the porcelain is thrown on the wheel it is then altered both immediately and at later stages. This process gives a dynamic look to the work and ensures that every piece although starting from the same premise is totally individual and unique. Charlotte’s drawings, made into transfers and fired on to the ware, are bold and fresh. There are various design options available for each piece of tableware.View Midsurrey Collection
